We (operator) purchase wood products from a supplier in China. We have many orders throughout the year. The timber of the items all comes from the same plot/batch.
According to the EUDR regulation, can we submit one DDS for the entire assessment and can we use this one DDS reference multiple times over a period of 12 months?
Or do we need submit DDS for each shipment?

Asking my colleagues I received the quick answer, you need to submit a due diligence statement (DDS) for each placing on the EU market, under the EUDR, meaning each shipment. But as this is a highly legal question we would need some input from our partners. Happy to hear your thoughts!

Aunque lo reformularemos un poco: Independientemente de que se abastezca de un solo lote o no, ¿qué habría de malo en una estrategia en la que rutinariamente crea una evaluación agregada basada en todo lo que ha comprado durante un año y solicita un DDS utilizando esa evaluación? El número DDS se reutiliza una y otra vez para todos los envíos de cualquier producto (de la misma familia de madera) en el transcurso de 6-12 meses. ¿Qué ocurre?
