The ‘EU Single Window Environment for Customs’ (EU SWE-C) acts as an interoperability framework bridging customs and non-customs IT systems. Anchored by the EU CSW-CERTEX system, it links the Information System with national customs IT setups, facilitating data exchange among economic operators and authorities. This setup ensures real-time data sharing and digital collaboration among customs authorities and non-customs entities tasked with enforcing environmental regulations.
