Ensure that the suppliers you work with are not on any sanctions list
A sanction list is a public list with companies, associations or persons for which certain economic and/or legal restrictions were imposed. Trading or conducting any other business with them is forbidden. Checking suppliers and other business partners against sanction lists is important to operate your business compliantly. Business transactions with parties on the list can be fined with high fines or imprisonment.
